Therapeutic heating is effective at treating conditions such as arthritis, back pain, chronic pain, joint contractures, soft tissue and repetitive stress injuries.
Prior to having the ReBoundTM in my toolbox, I used ultrasound, moist heat, electrical stimulation, and manual stretch in everyday treatments. When we received the REBOUND™, I first used it on an athlete with SI joint dysfunction. During the treatments, I only used the ReBoundTM in conjunction with manual joint manipulation. After two days, the athlete was asymptomatic and returned to normal ROM. I now use the ReBoundTM to treat most musculoskeletal dysfunctions and would highly recommend it be a constant in all therapeutic treatment facilities.

Tried the unit on a lateral epicondyle chronic case today. Pre-treatment ROM was 65 wrist flex/65 wrist ext, post treatment (20 minutes) was 80 wrist flex/75 wrist ext. Person who has double crush situation who has had ulnar nerve pain for 2 years…1 treatment (with manual therapy as well) but resulted in 2 weeks pain free until she was in a car accident now flared again.

We have been using the ReBoundTM on a daily basis and feel it is an integral part of our treatment regimen for all acute and chronic injuries. We use the 25% setting for acute problems and the 100% setting for all chronic problems. The new unit is very user friendly and the garments appear to be very durable. I love the tuning system on the unit – very easy and straightforward.

The ReBoundTM unit has proven to be a great asset in speeding recovery time in my athletic training room. Because I work in a high school I only have the back garment. Also, because of working in the high school setting the majority of my injuries consist of sprains and strains. Before the ReBound™ I was using hydrocullator packs and estim to treat acute and chronic back strains, which were common in my larger football players. Having access to the ReBound™ diathermy certainly cut my treatments down and aided in returning my athletes to the field sooner than the moist heat packs and pain free. Combining the treatments with stretching and massage helped even more.
The thing I like most about the ReBoundTM, besides the obvious, is that it is completely safe in respect to I don't need to watch the whole treatment. I can step away and take care of other athletes without worrying that the athlete will hurt themselves with the unit. Once you are trained to use it, it's pretty simple.

I just got back to my lab and we used the unit today! I love it! After using it on myself and in the lab cases I wrote up, I think the clinical applications are vast. I would love to use it with elbow patients post immobilization (fracture or dislocation). The capsule is extensive and hard to evenly and effectively heat with US prior to joint mobs. Also during the application of the ReBoundTM you can set the patient up with low load and long duration stretch. I love, love, love the unit!

The ReBoundTM Unit has been a welcomed addition to our Athletic Training Room. The unit has become an essential part of treatment for players that want a longer lasting heat modality than the one provided by moist heat packs and ultrasound. Players that before would go through several heat packs now undergo one session with ReBound™ and get more benefit than they felt previously.
Several of our players also have taken advantage of the unit prior to starting their stretching programs. Often these players will undergo one to two sessions of 100% heat for 15 to 20 minutes a session. They have found it allows them to stretch longer while still feeling the warmth of the modality for longer than the heat pack provided them. The device has been used to treat players with muscle spasms, tendinitis, lower back pain, and MCL sprains during our first season with the unit. I know in the upcoming seasons that I will find more pathologies to treat with the unit.

"I see a lot of shin splints due to changing surfaces so often during the soccer season. With the ReBoundTM system our athletes start to see the effects after just 1 treatment. Last year, one of our players suffered from bilateral stress fractures in her shins and we are trying very hard to prevent this from happening again. She loves receiving the ReBound™ treatments and believes that it has helped save her from a lot of pain. The ReBound™ warms up her calves more effectively than any other modalities. ReBound™ is a wonderful product and, to be honest, most days we fight over which training room gets to use it!"

I wanted to write and share with you the wonderful results I have been having with my ReBoundTM therapeutic device. Over the last several months, I have been receiving twice a day therapeutic sessions for my arthritic hands (fingers, thumbs, and wrists). My arthritic condition prevented me from participating in all but the most basic daily activities and such activities were extremely limited due to the pain and stiffness from my arthritic condition. After two months of treatment, the stiffness is gone and the pain can be tolerated with over the counter pain medications. I am now able to return to engaging in my favorite form of physical activity-golf!
I am thrilled with the results and would enthusiastically recommend ReBoundTM to all who suffer from similar symptoms.

"The ReBound unit is an easy to use form of diathermy. ReBound allows for a circumferential form of heating for all muscle-skeletal conditions, targeting the ENTIRE structure. The ReBound is especially beneficial for SI dysfunction/lumbar spine pathologies. I believe in this unit and our patients believe in this unit. The ReBound will now ALWAYS be a tool within our practice!!!"

Not only do the oscillating ions generate therapeutic heat up to 4 cm below the skins surface the following physiological effects are also the result of a ReBound™ diathermy treatment.
